No Lack of Black

Two familiar faces present
Funerals have something dramatic about them. I imagine people wearing their best black clothes,lace vails and hats, tight suits, umbrellas, sunglasses, and women in sheer tights with a backseem on black high heels.
So dissapoitning when poeple dare to show up in their daily jeans and sneakers.
But there was nothing dissapointing about the amount of black that showed up friday at amsterdam fashion week.

The Iris van Herpen show was something many had been looking forward to , including me. Her inspiration was egiptian mummification and considering her signature materials wich are leather and industrial materials, it promised to be mindblowing. It was a short show with only a few looks yet all the viewers were left in complete awe.
