I LUV pasta, but what I like even more then pasta is fresh bread to go with my pasta! So around here on pasta night, I often bake some sort of fresh baked bread to go with the pasta dish. This Cheesy Salsa bread that I made got a lot of praise from even my picky eaters!

Ingredients:

bread:

14 oz.  warm water                                                   1 1/4 tsp. salt

2TBSP.  sugar                                                               2 TBSP. butter

2TBSP. dry milk powder                                        4 cups flour

4 tsp. yeast

Mix together & let rise in a warm area.

filling:        

3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese                         1 tsp. garlic butter 

1/2 cup salsa

Roll out dough. Spread on garlic butter, cheese, &  salsa.  Roll up dough starting at one side.  Put onto a greased pan and sprinkle with oat bran. Let rise until doubled in size. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Enjoy!
